These pictures were taken last spring in Vietnam, similar developments can also be seen in China. Blue Tarp is being used as a low-tech shell against wind & water due to its easy handling and reusability as seen here. The above shags seem to be temporary shelter for moving workforces along new-built highways.

A follow-up on the earlier topic. This green spot in the desert is not only of ‘urban’ importance but also inspires as graphic or logo to build large-scale commercials seen ‘from above’.

This very inspiring collage was shown at the last venice biennale. Does anyone remember who the author is or related to what topic this pic was shown?

Approaching La Guardia Airport it can be seen out of your plane window (wind & weather permitting) and today I came across this on google earth working on another project. ‘Target’ uses its simple logo as a roof commercial, only being seen from a plane. However, the logo merges seamlessly into the graphic language of a navigation system.

Who would not associate New York with a Yellow Cab? After successfully showing these pics on the urbanizr flickr spot they should become a step of this blog. Blur in the pictures anonymizes the actual location, the actual moment making this an access door to each our individual memories.
